Runner-up in High Sheriff of Cheshire’s Prize for Literature for short story entitled Traffic. Anthology, Island Chain, published July 2019.
About the Book
Fiona’s story, Traffic, was awarded a Runners’-Up prize in the 2018 Cheshire Prize for Literature. Told with ‘flair, wit and compassion’, the story tells of the driver of a van with four women huddled in the back. Where is he taking them, and why? Island Chain is a collection of the seven prize-winning entries and fourteen additional anthology stories, all ‘deft, daring and thought-provoking stories’ (William Stephenson, Editor, University of Chester).
Available from Chester University Press, booksellers and distributors. Also available as an eBook.
